In an effort to raise funds for the care of adult mentally retarded citizens (special people), Mane Mission is hosting an international songwriting competition. Songwriters of all ages, whether professional or amateur, are invited to participate in the competition.

Applicant’s original songs must be centered on themes about special people, giving, or getting.

The song submissions will be judged equally on originality, lyrics, melody and composition. To maintain equality with all contestants, submissions will not be judged on the quality of performance or recording. Songs from all musical genres are welcome. You may enter as many individual original songs as you like.

Submissions are accepted from April 8, 2008 until Midnight on October 1, 2008.
